Alex Newe
Creative Producer – Cinematographer – Post Production
Alex Newe is a multidisciplinary filmmaker, creative producer, and sound artist based in London, working at the intersection of narrative filmmaking, non-scripted storytelling, and immersive production design. With a background in cinematography, studio operations, and audio post-production, Alex moves fluidly between industry and independent practice — balancing sharp technical proficiency with a distinctly personal, often surreal creative voice.
HEr most recent work involved leading Apple’s internal production ecosystem through her role at Jellyfish, managing studio operations, filming multilingual editorial content, and supporting global training campaigns across EMEIA and WW teams. As both a Videographer and Studio Manager, She served as a key creative liaison between departments, overseeing content from script to screen. Her technical expertise spans live broadcast workflows, post-production editing, camera systems, sound design, and directing multilingual content across eight languages.
Outside of corporate production, Alex creates genre-bending narrative and documentary hybrids that explore identity, systems, and emotional absurdity. Their most recent short film, God Mode, a mockumentary about perfection, surveillance, and self-image, won Best Narrative Short at the 2025 London International Student Film Festival. Her work often weaves together visual satire, performance, and sonic experimentation — informed by a film education split between California and the UK, and sharpened through years of hands-on production across brands, cultural institutions, and grassroots crews.
Alex is also a passionate creative across multiple mediums. Outside of work, She writes and directs short-form content, makes music, and stays closely connected to the theatre world and keeping up with new writing and industry trends. Creativity is not just a career path — it’s her way of understanding and engaging with the world.
She is particularly drawn to stories that centre underrepresented voices and are a strong advocate for greater female representation in technical roles within the arts. Whether it’s in cinematography, sound, or stage tech, Alex believes in breaking down barriers and making these spaces more inclusive, accessible, and collaborative.
Her clients include Apple, Microsoft, NHS, Deloitte, Hilton, and Jaguar Land Rover, among others. Alex’s work is driven by curiosity, emotional clarity, and a desire to fuse technology and storytelling in ways that feel radically human.
