I was a little skeptical about plaster casting at first. I just thought that I just poured some white goo into something and that was that. I did not think it would be so enjoyable! I had such a fantastic experience at the beach with my classmates. I casted my hand in an ASL sign for “I Love You”. It actually came out really well. I’ve never done anything with plaster or sculpting so this was my first experience and it was a blast. I think it would be really fun to make a mold of people’s faces and learn how to do prosthetic makeup for actors, as I want to work in film. One thing I definitely want to do next time is bring a paintbrush to sweep off the sand residue from the beach.
Hi, Alexandra… there is no “Alexandra Bronte” enrolled in Art 110, section 2. Are you sure you are enrolled in the class? Do you go by a different name?
LMK!

Yes I am! I forgot to mention that I use my middle name for my art. My full name is Alexandra Bronte Newe. I should be in your roster as Alexandra Newe. My apologies.

Got it, Alexandra, TY!
BTW, it’s very easy to “set your university name” to whatever you prefer. That way there wouldn’t be grading confusion.
Have a great weekend, Alexandra!
